You can't truly love others until you learn to love yourself as well. You're a person too; be kind to that person.

Something a lot of us forget!
Aww, I like this blog post! It’s definitely something artists need to be reminded of from time to time. It’s harder for us because we tend to be taught in art school to be our own worst critics, but of course like with most things in life we need to leave room for nuance and not take advice like that to an unhealthy extreme.
Sometimes it works out that an art piece you’re not proud of is actually super-popular. You wouldn’t call fans of those types of artwork dumb just because they liked it more than you thought, so why should you call yourself dumb?
Never compete with others; only yourself.
Well said
That's going to be difficult.
But I'll try.
Trying and failing > Not trying and failing
Kinda important to know, thanks for reminding
Of course :)
Be selfish basically
Essentially. Being selfish is the way to become truly unselfish.
I learned to love myself when this amazing lady got into my life.
Same with my partner.
It's such an uphill battle sometimes

That is so true, and important to remember
