@Jojo a lot of small ones, but i mostly reserve naps for the weekend B)
Take at least one catnap during your long shifts and see how ya feel. You'd be surprised, even if you don't fall asleep, just focus on nothing for a bit while putting a beanie over your eyes, closing them, and playing some soft music on your headphones; that's essentially what meditation is and if you fall asleep, even better! :D
@Jojo im always scared i'll start dozing and wake up more tired than if i hadn't :((
You shouldn't if it's only for 15 minutes. Set a timer on your phone to wake you up should you doze. You probably just have a lot of thoughts like me.
My catnaps are, like, 3 hours, but until I have to work in an office or something again they should be fine for remote work. I wish siestas were a thing in America, but most jobs I’ve had so far expect me to be most productive during what is naturally my least productive time of the day (2-5 in the afternoon).
I will set my phone timer for 15 minutes and just surrender my thoughts whilst dozing for a moment; works great and I feel more calm and energized after awaking compared to when I first wake up for the day.
@Jojo I might try that. Though with the breaks I typically get in my retail jobs in particular, I’ll have to settle for 5 minutes. I hope to get something more reasonable/better paying than retail in my next job search. They expected far too much dedication from me with far too little pay or benefits in return.
Exact same for my job. I luckily have good job security, but I get treated like shit by a lot of management because I'm not a fucking robot that can keep up with cart demand despite being underpaid even though I actually do an amazing job. "Fuck you! You want average work? Give me average pay!"

i would if my 12 hour shift allowed it :(

Do you get breaks?
