We are in a time where knowledge is at the tip of our finger; it is both a blessing and a curse depending on how we treat this newfound power. The age of social media has given us an infinite influx of information that we invest so much focus into that we lose our sight entirely on the purpose of knowledge to begin with; wisdom.
Think about the information you take in every day and how little of it really matters; forget about if it's good for society or not, is it even good for you? I would wager not, therefore, it is time to stop thinking for a moment and focus on how you feel. How do you feel about the knowledge you have gained? How much of it led to your wisdom and how much of it led to your boredom?
The internet has given us the gift of communication and as usual, we use it in the worst way possible; we stare into these screens as if it were a mirror with a reflection of ourselves that is often distorted. We partake in things like vanity, hate, division, and we convince ourselves that this is what we are which leads to a feeling of being trapped in a web, a "world wide web" so to speak.
It is time to be honest with yourself... are you stuck? Because no you're not. This hall of mirrors you have dwelled in is not the true reflection of yourself, so start smashing until all that's left is you and only you.
Be yourself, but not just your self, your best self.
