Sorry to take up the Frontpage with this,
but I genuinely need someone to talk to.
I'm at my limit.

I went to therapy for years but it never helped. They'll give you medication and it will either numb the pain for awhile or make everything worse. Really the only purpose is to give you time to find a more permanent solution rather then kill yourself. If you go make them lay out an plan for you to follow. If they can't do that after a few sessions find someone else
I'll try talking to a close friend if I still have one.
I do, it's important to actually take what they have to say seriously. You might think their methods are worthless or even silly, but you need to stay consistent and give them a chance. Even when you have good days, you still go. Good days are great, but it doesn't mean you're "cured", because the bad days will come back and you need to prepare for them.
I feel like I need to be honest with close friends. I'm trying.
@Jojo it's tough, but true friends will still be there for you, even during the bad times. That to me, is what really tests a true friendship.

the thing with it is that it depends on the type of therapy u get. For me it isn't really helping but my therapist is trying their best. I hope you get what you need and that you feel better!
