Maybe it's not the people with the anxiety that are always the problem, and maybe it's a reasonable reaction to our current situations? Maybe I'm talking out of my ass, I don't know. Sorry if so.

@Jojo yeah it is all quite depressing. Ususally, I just try to tune it out and focus on making my little tunes. But like, I guess that's sort of the problem. Too many people are using social media and online things to distract themselves from the shit-show around them. Perhaps if more people cared and less people distracted themselves, maybe the world wouldn't be as bad as it is.
That said, it could always be worse, but it certainly can be better.
Oh absolutely! I don't think it's that bad to distract yourself by expressing yourself with creativity. Matter of fact, the world would probably be just a little bit a better of a place if people did that sort of thing instead of dividing themselves amongst each other. As long as the citizens are divided, the ones-in-charge will never have anything to worry about. I would do more things in terms of socializing, but money is tight; which I cannot help but feel is intentional by the Man.
Destroy community, and you can establish control; provoke chaos, and you can enforce control.
If we bring back communities online and offline again, we will be in better shape as a people.
That's just my two cents.
@Jojo yeaaa its kinda bleak, but im sure peeps will unite once shit starts getting real rough. The more distracted the population is, the less likely they'll do anything. so thats why social media is a great population manipulation tactic.

Yeah, maybe the way the world is evolving is sparking more and more people to develop anxiety issues? Perhaps after lockdown a lot of people lost their social skills and now struggle when out in public.

It ain't just that even. The economy is awful, politics is a shitshow, people are allowing division amongst themselves due to propaganda at the mainstream level, community is gone, nature is not being properly implemented alongside the advancement of technology and industry. I'm not saying we should give up of course, but anxiety is entirely understandable at a time like this. If anything, people are just mirroring the environment and circumstances. There's no real downtime for ALOT of people, we're going TOO fast. The majority of people aren't aware of what things like social media are doing to their brains; what apathy is doing to their hearts. The ones who wish to make things better have little-to-no help, and anybody who wants to make a change for the better is cut short by the ones with all the money. And that's just the US! I can't even begin to fathom how countries worse off than us are doing. I could name a few...
