At one point in my life, I looked so much within for answers that I became entirely without. This led me to the conclusion that there never was a question to ask to begin with. The meaning of life to me is simply to live, but not just to live, not just to survive, but to thrive. And what I mean by this is not in the way of greed, but moreso in the way of need.

I guess that's the goal of being human: figuring out what we need and how to get it. The Greeks called it "arete," that thriving or fulfilling of potential.
