The way of the mystic is to let every outcome in life lead them along the path of progress; to go with the flow as to fight is to flee from one's own destiny.

I have been thinking for awhile now that the patterns, symbols, and ideals humanity has formed is a very natural desire to always want to understand the world around us, but the problem lies therein on trying to assign control to things that do not always need to be controlled. Sometimes one needs to stop for a moment and come to the revelation that the greatest way to have order within one's self is to realize that everything around us is indeed just chaos, chaos in its purest form, and when everything is chaos, nothing is, so you can calm down now.

Not only can I not really play any instrument well-enough live, but I just don't like the atmosphere personally. I'm up there on stage showing off myself and making people feel inferior to me. I would never wanna make anyone feel that way, but maybe I am just overthinking; I'm not entirely sure.

The fact that we are just a small speck in a seemingly infinite universe means that the possibilities in our own lives are also by nature, limitless. Calm down! There is nothing to fear. We are merely like the ape afraid of its own reflection in the mirror with our weariness of the unknown. We simply just don't understand everything fully yet, and that is okay.

We are in a time where knowledge is at the tip of our finger; it is both a blessing and a curse depending on how we treat this newfound power. The age of social media has given us an infinite influx of information that we invest so much focus into that we lose our sight entirely on the purpose of knowledge to begin with; wisdom.
Think about the information you take in every day and how little of it really matters; forget about if it's good for society or not, is it even good for you? I would wager not, therefore, it is time to stop thinking for a moment and focus on how you feel. How do you feel about the knowledge you have gained? How much of it led to your wisdom and how much of it led to your boredom?
The internet has given us the gift of communication and as usual, we use it in the worst way possible; we stare into these screens as if it were a mirror with a reflection of ourselves that is often distorted. We partake in things like vanity, hate, division, and we convince ourselves that this is what we are which leads to a feeling of being trapped in a web, a "world wide web" so to speak.
It is time to be honest with yourself... are you stuck? Because no you're not. This hall of mirrors you have dwelled in is not the true reflection of yourself, so start smashing until all that's left is you and only you.
Be yourself, but not just your self, your best self.
